The Colosseum Karate club is a full contact club with true self defence
We are a friendly club and welcome all new students. Our aim is to teach all aspects of Karate in a modern way covering real self defence.
In the Colosseum Karate lessons, we will not dictate blocks or moves that may not be natural for the student.
Every person is different in shape, strength, and build, male or female. We try to taylor the martial art around the person, enabling them to think for themselves and be able to act and react in a way that is natural. We work from modern teachings and cross train with all clubs that are free thinking.
If you are looking for practical Karate, please join us. If you are looking for a traditional sport based karate, please look elsewhere ie Wado Karate or Shotokan.
Kids Karate lessons are based on traditional Wado Kai Karate because of the non aggressive style.The Style is sport based which keeps the kids interested.
We are a full contact Karate Club with real self defences .
The Colosseum Fight Club in Haslemere has the best instructors in the area, If you are looking for Street Karate, K1 Kick Boxing or MMA, come and train with us. If Ground fighting is what you are looking for ,The Colosseum has Nova Forca (Brazilian Jiu jitsu & MMA ) under the guidence of Ricard Da Silva, The colosseum has champions that fight on FX3 Extreme Combat, Extreme Brawl (Jeremy Bailey Promotions) and Ultimate Challange.

The Colosseum K1 Kickboxing
The colosseum K1 Kickboxing is a friendly club welcoming all new students, you will learn all the aspects of K1 kickboxing.
The session is hard going, you will increase your cardio get fit and loose fat and tone, roughly 1100 calories are burned in each lesson.
In each session there is sparring for those that want to learn to fight but this is not for every one and if you dont want to spar and just get fit thats ok aswell.
For those that want to compete and fight we take part in many shows.
We have specific training for Kids keeping it fun
and on mats keeping it safe
